To achieve its goal of a circular economy centered on beeswax, U.I. Hexagone focuses its efforts on three areas of activity:
The next-generation frame, made from composite materials and designed according to eco-design principles, aims to reduce soil contamination. By gradually replacing non-recyclable plastic frames, which accumulate as waste, U.I. Hexagone helps lessen the pressure on ecosystems.
Derived from biomass as well as plant and animal residues, these bioproducts allow beeswax to be leveraged as a high-potential resource, particularly in the field of bioenergy.
The production of a Complete Honeycomb Matrix, made entirely from beeswax, allows for the processing and purification of the wax to extract the maximum amount of pesticides and systemic fertilizers.
This process provides bees with an optimal living environment for their development, thereby enhancing the quality of hive products. This quality will be reflected across all hive products, showcasing and highlighting the unique flavors of our national terroir.
